Refund Policy

We keep this policy short and human.
The default rule
Subscriptions renew monthly. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months. Cancel any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then.
When we will issue a refund
- The Service was unavailable for an extended period (more than ~24 hours of downtime in a billing cycle that materially prevented you from using your minutes). Email us and we'll credit or refund the affected period.
- You were charged after cancelling. If our system bills you after a successful cancellation, we'll refund the erroneous charge in full.
- Duplicate charges. If Stripe processes the same charge twice, we refund the duplicate immediately.
- Within 7 days of your first paid month, if you have not used more than 10% of your plan's minute allowance. One-time goodwill refund for new customers.
When we will not issue a refund
- You forgot to cancel before the renewal date.
- You used your plan's minutes and changed your mind.
- You don't like the AI's clip selection. (We offer per-clip editing for exactly this reason — please use it before requesting a refund.)
- You uploaded content you didn't have rights to and your account was suspended.
How to request a refund
Email hello@beaverclip.com from the address associated with your Beaverclip account, with your most recent invoice number. We respond within 2 business days.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us, we may suspend your account while the dispute is under review. Please email us first — we'd rather refund you directly than fight a chargeback.
